Committees

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (Section 68)

  • The committee makes decisions on behalf of the Council between Council meetings.

PRACTICE CONTROL COMMITTEE (Section 69)

  • Development of policies and regulatory changes pertaining to registration requirements for entry into practice

DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE (Section 70)

  • The Disciplinary Committee hears matters of professional misconduct or incompetence referred by the EXCO. Upon conclusion of an inquiry, the Committee takes the necessary action.

EDUCATION AND LIAISON COMMITTEE (Section 71)

  • Subject to the general directions given to it by Council, ELC supervises the education and training of the medical and dental professions.
